Institute for Training and Economic Development (ITED) is an independent development and implementation platform headquartered in Pristina, Kosovo.

Leadership & Core Expertise
Driton Berisha brings over 25 years of experience in workforce systems reform, Dual VET and WBL implementation, institutional capacity building, and project management across Kosovo and the Western Balkans.
As Founder and Managing Director of ITED, he leads the organization’s strategic direction, operational delivery, and stakeholder engagement—overseeing multi-stakeholder initiatives involving public institutions, private sector actors, and international development partners.
Jürgen Kosemund is a senior international expert in vocational education and labour market systems with over 30 years of experience supporting institutional reform and workforce development across Europe and Central Asia.
He has worked with governments and development partners, including GIZ and EU-funded programmes, in Kazakhstan, Albania, Uzbekistan, and Kosovo to design and implement sustainable skills and employment systems.

ITED operates through a core management structure supported by a broad network of local, regional and international experts across workforce development, institutional reform, private sector development, digital transformation, green transition, gender empowerment, youth and monitoring & evaluation.
Depending on project scope and geographic context, ITED mobilizes multidisciplinary expert teams to ensure technical depth, implementation capacity, and alignment with international standards.
